Who we are
Having studied in Greece and in England, teaching English was a dream to come true in 2002. Teaching teenagers in language schools was a rewarding experience but after some years I felt the need for a change of scenery. So after completing my Delta, I taught different nationalities and ages in my hometown and in English summer schools and then decided to teach freelance 1-2-1 lessons both face-to-face and online. Being a mother of two young children is a great challenge on its own so finding a better work-life balance has been my drive to become more productive, organized and focused on both my family and teaching.
An enthusiastic language learner from an early age, at 12 I decided I would become a teacher of English. I started my teaching career teaching my native language – Italian – in London, where I also CELTA-trained. Back to my Italian home town of Turin, I embarked on the ELT journey and have been teaching freelance since 2000. DELTA- and CELTYL-qualified, I teach mostly for exam preparation, and enjoy writing materials when I have the chance. Outside work, the activity I have been most consistent in practising in the past years is aikido, both as a martial art and a way of balancing body and mind.
